as Fires of Life
you may know
get restless
without arts and crafts
and poetry slams
for new sights and ideas
to feed lives.
Ourselves and others
are books for reading
Inside some are libraries
some have but a diary.
More often than not
there's also mirrors
and with a little light
shedding reflections on lives;
Whether through
metaphorical inductions
scientific method
logic or rationalism-
There to provide guidance.
Fires of Life
burn, always moving
always looking forward
always shedding light
light we might use
to look into unseen corners
around trees past ignorance
for something we might find
to eat for strength
You may know
everything about a subject
but when one reasonably explains it
explanations are often simplified
or complex with little understanding
like fire being passed on twig
or conflagration one fears too near
While some use metaphor
and metaphorical inductions
for fire that burns lasting
and can be revisited anytime
for having been tamed to play tricks.
Restless,
fires burn.
They dance,
creating their own wind
and have filled many a balloon.
They've: cooked dinner,
Created stars,
warmed lovers,
And turned iron to steel.
If we could but tame then
fires of knowledge
for it soon consumes us
with all their technology.
But How?
With arts and crafts
we see all individual parts
like grapes in cluster
put together in connection
we need knowledge similarly
but often it so complex
things come preassembled
whether medicine or vaccine
and so we doubt validity
And any grapes left connecting?
already thrown out
by refinement into magic.
Poetry slamms
can take us back
to extended metaphor
and has been used before
in parables and allegory
but can also take us towards
forward thinking as real as
any planned vineyard
to tame ignorance and knowledge
through metaphorical induction
as noble and rational elements.
This has been used as such in pasts
in finely wrought models and similes,
like you know, wine.
New sights and ideas
lie beyond that horizon
in that vineyard of thought.
While scientific methods spawns
true and false knowledge
Metaphorical induction
would grow weak and strong
fire for bellies sail,
helping too to feed our mouths
and minds relaxation,
perhaps putting to sleep some
of our deepest worries,
but could also run engines for industry
like corn is used now.

Feeding lives
isn't the cleanest of occupations
often it requires work and patience.
Growing metaphorical inductions is not easy,
And that's why God made the farmer.
