It is time to see connections
inside our libraries
for things to eat and strength
that can be revisited anytime
for having been tamed.
Soon technology consumes us
by refinement into magical
ignorance and knowledge.
Like corn used in industry,
growing metaphors isn't easy,
and that's why God made the farmer.
Inside our libraries
metaphors erupt
in active volcanism
Some fill our breath
some create islands
some provide recreation
resorts with walkways
and lodges and pictures
Some explode in scenes
preventing flight and sight
collapse roofs or create midnight
But though scorched earth,
life eventually returns.
We are still young
and inside fires still burn.
Volcanos and earthquakes result,
as well as mountain building,
as well as all igneous rock and cratons
that we'd sink pylons into building skylots.
Knowledge then is driver of all tectonics,
while metaphor can release recycled sight,
though perhaps catastrophicly depending
upon merchantability.
While all land is cooled knowledge recycled
or otherwise, as soils of history.
For things to eat or strength, then
we must look where things are quieter
and richer in history.
We can revisit anytime
tumult of thoughts.
Tamed fires
are distinct species
placed in edifice.
Though what fire
is ever really tamed,
but one contained.
Even Earth builds
edifice for Vulcan.
Technology
is mechanization
of knowledge driving
like steam driven engine
to spin on table tops
like a simple toy
in demonstration
like this poem...
but capable of
rational inquiry
beyond horizons
of scientific method's
resting laurels.
Though already rich
in proud history.
I proffer but bauble.
Refinement
brings more power to invention,
and perhaps more control,
if we but boil our ignorance
through metaphorical induction
to steam piping hot
in conducting leverage
in our daily lot
we might find purpose
AND REAL INSIGHT
for our work...
as universes tend to
their own gardens
of similarity
in confines of chaos.
Ignorance and knowledge
battle for dominance
to actualize.
The blindest fear
grows from reason,
if but biochemistry
isn't irrational.
Corn-
can grow though too
and supply core fires
for body or engine
in 28 different dishes
as living knowledge-
preferred over
digging up graves.
Growing metaphors
annihilated dinosaurs
alongside cataclysm
through climate change.
The cold-blooded behemoths
of land, sea, and sky ponder
people as dinner, if at all.
God made the farmer
very reliant upon labors.
In fact labor is our only
proving point in cultivating
future methods and ideas
that would feed billions
creating energy and GDP,
or even exploring stars.
Volcanism
helps create islands
for building skylots
where land is cool and quiet.
Driving metaphors
power and control
actualization of
bodies and engines
in cultivating futures.
