If you'd be free
from chains,
use minds eye view
of tomorrows reality
with your own vision
and swim ashore.
Chains
limit freedom
and money
is a passive-aggressive
form of slavery
It's all good if one enjoys
or finds meaning in their work.
But likely, we work
at jobs we don't enjoy,
so tomorrow
we can keep doing things
we don't enjoy.
Then we train our children
to do the same.
Isn't that crazy?
Using Minds Eye View
we can escape
these mortal bonds
at least for a while
for places of imagination
(that might actually exist)
if but in your own mind,
and plan, dream, and hope
a better world
as you understand it
for needed change.
Tomorrows reality
is but a dream
of yesterday's hope.
Everybody has a plan
that they hope
will make them happy.
Failing happy,
I try at least
to be thankful,
anymore.
With one's own vision
you can see
your whole past.
Why can't one see
open possibilities
reaching towards stars
in a million paths,
but for a lack of imagination.
Swim ashore
THAT reality
and let one's mind wonder
about the sky and earth
that makes up this world,
for today is the present
in which we're given freewill.
The world isn't really
all that mechanical.
Love more than makes
the world go round.
The best things in life are free.
Likely, we work
so we can escape later
into yesterday's hope;
But a bazillion paths lead
from today, from this present
into good things, too.
